Frequently asked questions

What subscription tiers are available to me?

You can choose between two subscription tiers: Standard at £750/month for a minimum commitment of 16 hours a month, and Enterprise at £1750/month for a minimum commitment of 38 hours a month. Price does not include VAT.

How does the minimum commitment work?

The minimum commitment is the number of hours of development you are guaranteed each month. Should capacity allow, we always aim to exceed this commitment.

How will my subscription be billed?

Your subscription will be billed monthly via DirectDebit.

What is the subscription term?

Our subscription lasts for 12 months.

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel within the first month to opt out of the remaining term. After the first month, cancellation is possible anytime, but the term’s fees apply.

What happens at the end of the term?

At the end of a term, you have the option to purchase ownership and IP rights of the code outright, renew your subscription, or exit Bridge. If exiting, we supply the compiled codebase free of charge.

Can I change my subscription tier?

Yes, you can move up or down between the Standard and Enterprise tiers during your current term. The changes will be reflected the following month.

What are the benefits of the Standard vs. Enterprise subscription tiers?

The Standard tier is designed for smaller teams and projects, offering 16 hours of development time per month and end-of-month check-ins. The Enterprise tier caters to larger projects with a minimum of 38 hours of development time per month, priority support, and real-time communication via Slack Connect. Both tiers provide access to our full suite of features and maintenance support.

How do we start the technical process?

We begin by agreeing on an initial technical Product Requirements Document (PRD) with you, after which development starts based on the PRD.

What happens after the initial build is completed?

Post-build, we maintain the project in line with our maintenance contract, which includes new features, bug fixes, security updates, and package updates.

How are communications handled?

For the Standard tier, we conduct end-of-month check-ins and communicate via email. At the Enterprise tier, we will also use Slack Connect for real-time communication.

Who owns the Intellectual Property (IP) rights?

IP rights are owned by us but are transferred to you for the duration of the term and any subsequent renewals. At the end of your subscription term, you have the option to buy the software outright, at which point the IP rights can be transferred to you permanently.

Who owns the code?

The code is owned by us and kept in our repositories. If you decide to purchase the software outright at the end of your term, full ownership of the code will be transferred to you.

How is the outright purchase price determined?

The outright purchase price is calculated by taking the total cost of the project if charged upfront and then subtracting the total amount you've already spent on monthly subscription fees.

How is hosting managed?

We manage all hosting, which is billed separately.

How are hosting costs calculated and billed?

Hosting costs are directly passed through to you without any markup, reflecting only the actual cost of resources your application uses, such as storage, bandwidth, and computing power.
